DJ UVE «Deja que los discos hablen…» (2009)
Grabado en octubre de 2009 con dos platos, un mezclador, un sampler, una unidad de efectos, un multipistas y montones de vinilo para el blog de Desparrame, ya desaparecido. La única intención al grabarlo fue dejar que los discos fluyeran de las cubetas a los platos sin imponer límites musicales pero intentando mantener una coherencia musical. De ahí el título «Deja que los discos hablen».
This was recorded in October 2009 with two turntables, a mixer, a sampler, an fx unit, a multitrack recorder and lots of vinyl for the now defunct Desparrame blog. The only intention when performing the mix was to let the records flow free from the crates to the decks without style boundaries but always trying to maintain a musical coherence. So that’s the title: «Deja que los discos hablen», spanish for «Let the records speak».
