DJ UVE & DJ THABEAT «Treinta-Treinta» (2009)
Hice esta con mi amigo Thabeat (David Valera) para celebrar nuestro amor por el Hip-Hop como algo contrario al pop. Los títulos son inventados porque casi todos los cortes son mezclas de instrumentales y voces de temas diferentes.
Así lo presentamos cuando salió en 2009: «A UVE y a Thabeat les une la pasión por el Hip-Hop. Por eso siempre han rebuscado entre todo el material editado buscando originalidad y frescura. También independencia de ideas y un imprescindible sentimiento de contracultura. Así que los únicos hits que encontrarás en «Treinta-Treinta» son los que se hicieron populares en sus sesiones más personales o en sus walkman. En los suyos y en los de sus colegas. Porque en estos 60 minutos se reflejan tanto los dj’s como sus crews y sus procedencias, con UVE representando la escena cántabra y madrileña y Thabeat la catalana. Eso sí, siempre desde el lado izquierdo, lejos del foco del mainstream. Nota: Sólo apto para puristas y freaks del género.»
I did this with my friend Thabeat (David Valera) to celebrate our love for Hip-Hop as opposite to mainstream. Titles are ficticious since very tracks are blends of several songs.

Add the needing of independency and some kind of counterculture. Thus the only hits you’ll find in «Treinta-Treinta» (meaning «Thirty-Thirty») are those popular in their more personal sessions and in their walkmans. In theirs and in their friends’. Because this sixty minutes of hip-hop reflect the djs’ taste as well as their crews and origins, with UVE representing Cantabria and Madrid, and Thabeat repping from Catalonia. But remember, sitting always on the left side, far away from the mainstream focus.»
